I love this place!! Every stylist is professional and knowledgeable about natural hair. Nash is soooo awesome!! He does my hair so well, and it lasts for a while and looks beautiful always!!! My hair has been growing and looking healthy since I’ve been going here regularly, and they have great pricing. They play really relaxing easy-going music, and it’s a very clean shop!

I went to this salon this morning. The shampoo was great. However, they use way too much heat! The older man with gray hair was my stylist. While he blow dried my hair I felt my scalp burning to the point where I jumped at least three times. He also used the stove irons repeatedly on the same sections of hair. He didn’t even take them out of the stove to cool off first. Then he used the flat iron, which was smoking all over my hair. I discovered three areas of my hair that are singed and my hair smells burnt. There’s no pleasant, fresh smell. When out in public I’m embarrassed because of the burnt smell because people have commented on it. I now have to rewash my hair and deep condition it in hopes that the smell will lighten up. We constantly support these kinds of salons and they continue to damage our hair. I’m done. Never again.

I went here and got a wash and blow dry. The was was good. But, when they blow dried me they were super rough and they didn’t use heat protector on my hair. They then flat ironed my ends after I told them multiple times that I don’t use heat on my hair. I told them I only wanted a blow dry. Now my hair has heat damage and I been crying my eyes out for the past hour. I would not recommend this place. They didn’t listen to my concerns and did whatever they wanted.

The lady that did my hair burnt me all over the head and maybe cause my head wasn’t dry all the way or what but whenever I sweat or put oil in it became very itchy and sore to the point it felt like a perm was in my head. Worst experience ever but my hair was super cute.#SilkPress I gave 2 stars because of the manger very rude couldn’t even talk without him interrupting me .
