Merrick Animal Hospital has a competent and friendly staff who take great care of pets. They are patient and gentle, making exams comfortable for even the most nervous animals. The hospital is welcoming and professional, with staff who are animal lovers themselves. Appointments are prompt, and prices are rational. Pet owners can trust that their animals will receive excellent care, making Merrick Animal Hospital a wonderful place to bring your pet. The staff is always smiling and happy to see both pets and their owners, showing genuine care. The vets explain everything clearly, and the team is known for being kind, compassionate, and thorough. Many pets are so comfortable there that they want to drag their owners inside on walks. Moxy, a regular patient, has had her yearly checkups, vaccines, worm checks, and ear infections treated at this neighborhood vet, which also offers grooming services. Overall, Merrick Animal Hospital is a highly recommended, caring, and friendly place for pets.
This hospital is a great facility, friendly service and they do a lot in house which saves a lot of money. They've been instrumental in keeping my dog healthy and happy while she ages.

Dr. Horowitz, Dr. Lihosit, and the staff at Merrick Animal Hospital are great!
One of our senior kitties has just started palliative care for what is likely to be a life-ending illness. Dr. Horowitz has done a fabulous job of doing just enough testing to understand the severity of our cat's condition, without going overboard and recommending tests and interventions that are inappropriate given the cat's baseline health status. He explained his findings very clearly and proposed a treatment plan that will hopefully give the cat some good days yet ahead, while acknowledging that we probably don't have a lot of time left with him.
