First off, I’ve been buying my soil mixes and additives from here for several years, and everything I grow loves it.
I also wanted to say how friendly and generally awesome the entire staff are. I had a minor mishap with some mixes I bought (small quantity), I called, spoke to Tim directly, I explained my situation, and he was so friendly, and offered to replace it.
I highly recommend this place to anyone in the Chicagoland area.

Went Saturday 4/18/2026 got 2 yards of the pulverized top soil in my truck and it was great. Went back today 4/19/2026 for 2 more yards and the first scoop the kid gave me was one solid chunk. Half of it was still stuck in the bucket. A coworker noticed and went and pointed the section he should scoop from. The second bucket was pulverized. Now I’m stuck with a 1,000 lb solid chunk in the back of my truck. I’m not really feeling like I got the pulverized top soil I paid for.
