If you want a good hair cut this is the place to go unlike most places in Bloomington that don’t do walk ins this is the right man for the right job. I was really satisfied with the time and effort he put when cutting my hair. 10/10 hair cut and will be coming back for more in the near future.

Took my 6 year old to Jamonte for his 4th haircut. All the other places were shop shops compared to him. He handled my child's wiggles and silliness with so much grace and kindness. His space is small, just him, and it was perfect. Not a big space to distract and overstimulate kids. My kid's hair looks amazing and not like I tried to give him a bowl cut. Absolutely will be visiting Jamonte again.

We have been to multiple salons/shops/barbers in town and have consistently had bad experiences. We tried Empire Barbershop and WOW! My son FINALLY loves his cut and it’s been by far the best he’s received. Jamonte listened to what my son wanted, and provided exactly what he asked for. He gave pointers on products to use to style it based on his hair type. It was also a pleasure to chat with Jamonte during the cut and I will not take my son anywhere else. I highly recommend Empire Barbershop!
