Coach Mike is top of the top. He knows exactly how to pass on his knowledge in a clear and effective way. Very professional great attitude, and real experience you can feel on the mat. High level training great atmosphere, and serious results. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to truly learn and improve.
The gym overall is legit, from the head coach & staff to the fighters, everyone is welcoming and supportive. I work privately with Jose Ferreira, and I’ve been to several gyms and trained with many different coaches. Jose is top tier; he starts on time, coaches you for the full duration of the session, has a system that covers all aspects, and provides feedback inside and out of workouts. Sessions are intense and precise. The type of work that’ll leave you feeling a little fearful before the next workouts begins, but if you’re willing to show up and push through, you’ll leave feeling accomplished and 1% better.
By far the best MMA gym in the state of Illinois. Good reason why both Roufusport and JacksonWink themselves recommended this place to me, not to mention their high output of UFC champions. My time living in Chicagoland area, practices here have been stellar under Mike's world class coaching and Pierra's business direction. When I move back to Chicago I will definitely be back.
