“We had called NICOR to report a possible CO problem. Their Tech found no CO but did find 4 natural gas leaks in our basement. NICOR turned off our gas in order to protect us, of course. We called McNally's since they had installed our furnace a couple of years ago. They informed us that they didn't do the type of work that we needed but referred us to River City Plumbing. It was late, so I called the next morning, hoping to be able to get help within a couple of days. They sent two Techs within a couple of hours! Our house is ancient. The gas plumbing was probably installed in the late 1940s and is all iron pipe. We were expecting major repairs that would cost thousands. Instead the River City crew had it completed in a couple of hours and it cost less than $500!!! NICOR came back to inspect and approve the work and we are back up in running in only two days!!!! THANK YOU River City and NICOR!”
