I brought a gown here for alterations for my best friend’s wedding—my first big event after having a child. The dress was stunning but a little long.
My experience was awful. The tailor did an okay job with a decent turnaround time.
But her critiques of my postpartum body were unwelcome, unwarranted, unnecessary, unprofessional, and, frankly, heartbreaking.
I would not recommend this shop for any girl or woman for that specific reason.
I found another shop in town with a much better experience that I’ve been going to since.
I reached out to Mitra to alter a bridesmaid dress for July. She was quick to respond and fit me in same day to start the alterations. I expressed what I needed done and she actually made additionally suggestions to really have the dress fit me perfectly. At first she said to call in a month for pick up, but the dress was actually ready the next week. It fits great and pricing was affordable. I will definitely be back for future alteration needs!
I do not recommend this shop at all the lady there did not listen to me. When I said I want my pants a little longer. She kept on saying I pinned them up. I pinned them up then she's accusing me of not wanting to pay which I never said anything about, she's threatening to call the cops on me. This is the worst Taylor around. I do not recommend them. Don't waste your money or your time. The owner is very rude.
