My kitten needed emergency surgery after an xray at her vet showed she swallowed something metal like a battery. Staff was thorough and clear in communication on next steps, costs, potential complications, permission before handing her to a very skilled surgeon and team. They also were very tuned into her emotional needs as a tiny kitten in the ICU and kept her in a quiet area and well attended. The surgeon Dr. Kienitz and the surgical intern Dr. Sirr were excellent. Her waiting for surgery, just home and one week out.

Dr. Robbins is an incredible surgeon, Dr. Gelb, the radiologist, literally saved our dog's life, and Dr. Wickers in the ICU gave our dog the most AMAZING care, was so compassionate and her instincts on what he needed was spot on. Ann Marie is one of the nurse techs (they are all great but she was stellar!). Cannot recommend enough!

My cat had an ultrasound and then immediate surgery for a foreign object in his intestines. I was very impressed with the process and all the people who worked there. I was alway kept informed of what was happening and when. After I brought my cat home, I was surprised to get a partial refund of what I paid, since the surgery was not as involved as they expected. I drove 50 miles for this place and it was well worth it for the professionalism of the center. My cat is recovering very well. It was expensive, but in the end, well worth the money to have everything taken care of smoothly and quickly.
