Dr. Hantos is an exceptional kind and caring physician as well as being highly skilled, clinically. She listens carefully and assesses the problem, thus providing the best solution. She also provides prompt follow up for testing and questions. Her staff is likewise caring, professional and knowledgeable.
Her receptionist aren’t the nicest people to speak too. I just called to have the doctor refill one of my Rx’s and the lady who i spoke with (they never reveal there names) said that Dr. Hantos never refills that certain Rx because it can be addicting. She said it in a very rude tone making it seem like I’m addicted to it. They don’t seem to know what they are doing when scheduling appts, and being asked medical questions. She even said on the phone “who is this?” instead of asking for my DOB to look me up in the system. They need to be trained more to work with patients who are in chronic pain.
Dr. Hantos is a personable, highly knowledgeable neurologist. She is a very good diagnostician. She listens carefully and does not rush you whatsoever. She called me back with test results very quickly the same day that I had an MRI. I would give her five stars, but one has to take into consideration the office space, ancient equipment, and front desk personnel.
The waiting room is tiny and the examining room I was in was just a stone's throw away from where patients were waiting. This made me a little uncomfortable since they could likely hear what I was saying in confidence to Dr. Hantos. I couldn't test this theory since there was not a patient in that room...read full review
