It is a good hair salon. Each individual hair dresser has been well trained and possess great skills and experiences, and pricing are very reasonable. However, very inconsistent on their availability. Difficult to get appointments in consistent intervals due to hight turnover of staffs.

Really enjoyed my haircut at Arukas! Keiko was great and was very detailed with my hair! Also I love that each seat comes with a charger so you can charge your phone while getting your hair cut!

Let me start off by saying that just because it's a Japanese salon, it does not mean you have to be Japanese speaking to get an amazing experience. I am someone who has had terrible luck with salons; nobody ever got my haircuts how I really wanted them and as a result I had avoided getting a haircut for several years. I decided to give Aruka's a try as I had seen them when I'd go shopping at Mitsuwa (which it's in the same building as) and had been curious. I did have to make an appointment quite a while in advance (over a month) but it was worth the wait.
