They were there when we had to put our 17.5 year old miniature schnauzer to sleep. They approach our highly anxious rescue dog with so much patience and compassion and if it weren’t for their big, generous hearts, we wouldn’t even have our precious one-eyed rescue cat (Dr. K’s sister found him on a country road all by himself when he was just 6 weeks old and Dr. K took the time to care for him for months and even did surgery to remove his infected eye until she found his forever home with us!)
