Alton Animal Clinic was recommended by a family member. Nice roomy lobby, nice exam room, exceptionally nice staff including doctor. The lobby wait time beyond the appointment time was a bit more than I had hoped for with a 3 month old puppy but all worked out. Very nice clinic that treated our puppy with respect and offered a plan of care going forward so we can plan accordingly.

A few weeks ago I called to get Ameretto, our 14.5 yr old min pin in to see Dr. Formea and was told he’s on an unexpected leave of absence and to say prayers for him. We did see Dr. Maag and he was good with her and helped me make the decision to do pain management. I asked Dr. Maag to please let Dr. Formea know about her and he said he would. I had to make a tough decision to let her go and when I made the call to the office and asked if Dr. Formea could do this for me, he was still out so we had Dr. Maag assist us with her passing. As far as I'm concerned, Formea is the best vet around. I love the care they provide for my dogs and was pleasantly surprised at how quickly they were able to get me in during my last visit. Thank You Formea Animal Hospital.
