I've been having my hair done here for many years. The employees in the salon are always so nice - Peggy is wonderful & knowledgeable! Brooke does an awesome job with my thick yet fine turning gray hair. She performs magic with my hair. My daughter had a balayage done & styled for her upcoming wedding and was so excited with Amanda's magic! Adriana did the highlights on my other daughter's hair - So beautiful! As I've said - I've been coming here for years and all the hair stylists are awesome! Thanks to these ladies listening to what we were each looking for!

Been using JC Penney salon for most customers for almost 20 years - prices are fair, appointments are easy, and over the years, I've been able to find a couple of long term stylists. My current stylist's schedule conflicts with mine, and last week I had an appointment with another. They are all friendly and customer oriented. However, after getting home and attempting to style my own hair, I found one side cut shorter and more layered than the other. Tried styling it on my own a few more days, but the differences were more than I was willing to live with until the next cut. I have been going to jc Penneys Salon way before they were in Algonquin Commons. Brooke is my stylist. She is very popular there so I make my appointments 5 weeks in advance. Near Christmas & New Years I make 2 future appointments or she would be booked. Great stylist, superb Colorist& all around super person! Love her!!
