My dental assistant I believe Tara was beyond sweet and kind. I told her I have extreme dental anxiety and she was on top of it making sure I was okay and comfortable and walking me through everything that was happening. The lady who cleaned my teeth Sarah was super sweet and gentle told me exactly what was happening and when I told her the numbing gel wasn’t enough on one section of my mouth she numbed me with the needle immediately no questions asked. Willamette has a central call center that handles appointment scheduling for all offices in Idaho, Washington, and Oregon. I was disappointed initially because even though I waited on the phone for extended periods, I had difficulty getting through to a scheduler to make an appointment. Needless to say I was skeptical and uncertain whether the Willamette dental plan was a good fit for me and my family and even whether the care would be good when and if I could ever get an appointment. I have had my appointments canceled twice now. They sent me confirmation texts I confirmed. My first appointment got canceled as I was leaving to drive to 45 miles to thier office. The rescheduled appointment was a exam and a plan put in place for the second. I arrived today and was told the Dr. Was out and They needed to reschedule me again! Now I have been delayed in getting my teeth fixed twice. In my first appointment I asked for antibiotics because I have infection in my gums. The doctor said no and I wanted it cleared up before work began because I have a heart murmur and I'm suppose to be pre-medicated. I'm so frustrated with this.
