I hate to leave a bad review here as they did help my son’s mama dachshund through her emergency c-section. But in picking her and her 6 babies up I noticed one of the babies that happened to be one of the feistier ones was cold and pretty limp. When asking if she was okay she said oh yeah you might need to watch her she’s not really latching so you can go get her some formula and try bottle feeding too. At that time of night I knew nothing was open to get that stuff and asked do you have anything here to help her? She went in the back and brought out a syringe of formula and a syringe of Karo syrup. I said she is dying! She then told me oh, she just needs to perk up we gave her some karo syrup about 10 minutes ago when that kicks in she’ll be fine..I kept reiterating that she was cold, limp and going to die if she didn’t get help. I asked again if they could help her I didn’t want to take her home just to watch her die She was doing so good when they were dropped off. I said what about tube feeding her and she said that’s alittle advanced for us. Even longer story short we took her home attempted to warm her and continued Karo syrup and small drops of mom’s milk until she finally passed at 3am. I understand taking care of 6 new puppies while doing a c-section on mama is a lot. Once you notice one has started to chill and has hypoglycemia from not eating so long at least try to help her not send her out the door for us. When calling another vet in Boise asking what to do they said take her into the emergency vet immediately to get her warmed and a shot. I let them know we just left the emergency vet and they are the ones that sent us out. I was told that was very unfortunate that a vet would let her leave that way.

This place is absolutely horrible. I will be taking my dispute to the board and letting them know how unprofessional this establishment handles situations. The lady at the front hung up on me multiple times and stated if I wasn’t calling to pay my bill to quit calling after a lady whom don’t speak good English calls me and informs me she’s gonna call the cops on me for not paying. They took my pup as he was choking and I believe didn’t follow protocol then later slams a whole list I never agreed to on me. I agreed to X-rays that was it. I’d assume when an emergency occurs they would know how to handle a situation in a professional manner. This place is an absolute joke and I’m not the first they treated so poorly.

Our puppy had an emergency on Sunday night, we drove all the way from Ketchum to Twins. Everyone there were so nice and really helped our puppy. They are very honest and kind and really care about animals. Thank you.

My Chihuahua was in a fight and had serious neck injuries. It was after 6pm so we drove to Twin Falls and I was delighted with the reception lady. Very kind and helpful. They were busy yet immediately took her and discussed the issues and treatment needed. Emergency veterinarian care is expensive but her life is worth every penny and they discussed the charges with me beforehand so no surprises. I highly recommend Healing hands.

We've taken 3 of our cats here over the course of a few years for some major cases, some minor cases. Cats are (unfortunately) very good at hiding their pain and sometimes it morphs into something before you know it, and regular vet times can take up to two weeks to see your cat. Healing Hands can see your pet the same day, and if it is serious, every second counts. I'm glad there is a clean and comfortable emergency vet within a reasonable distance from our house.
Our first visit we took our suffering elderly cat here a few years ago, and our male vet kindly told us she was old and there was little we could do to improve her quality of life at that stage. No one wants to hear that about their beloved pet but she was nearly 20 years old, and we put her down at another clinic soon after. The same year two kittens we took in had caught parvo (kitten wasting disease) and they said the best we could do is give them fluids and hope. They also passed away, but they were compassionate, even though vets know that the cases of kittens surviving parvo are slim they still gave us hope.
A year and a half later, our 1 year old cat also caught parvo but she was vaccinated. No clue how she got it, not related to the kittens, but she stayed overnight and was given fluids as well. She pulled through and is just fine now, but was treated nicely. At the time our bill was close to $1k, but we saved our cat.
This week we brought our other cat in for a tail sprain, she got X-rays, given pain meds. She'll be okay, but I'm grateful she was able to get help fast and not be in pain for more weeks. Our wait time was 2 hours but they prioritize seeing the animals by order of severity. The walls are very slim and I could hear some bad news about the cats in the other rooms and I was grateful to not hear too bad of news that day, so the wait time was okay for me. The bill was $400 which is a lot for minor cases but I don't think the prices are that unreasonable.
Overall the Healing Hands crew are human, and deal with a lot of severe cases and emotions from owners and telling harsh truths. My animals were treated kindly and humanely and this is an EMERGENCY clinic so all I ask is they are treated well. I see a lot of negative reviews from what I can assume are kind owners going through a lot of emotions about their pet which is fine, but if your pet is hurting and they need to be seen, please bring your pet here ASAP if you can.

Worst emergency vet ever, best to go anywhere than here. They ban you for no reason and rather see your animals suffer and die and take all your money. No sympathy no compassion no customer service. Stay away for your own good.

Took my dog in for a rattlesnake bite as a late night emergency visit. From receptionist to vet tech to Dr. Levallee, I was met with respect, professionalism and compassion. I was kept appraised of the thought process that drove the treatment and was felt that my concerns and thoughts were immediately and well addressed. I truly appreciate the services that were rendered and felt that my dog was treated very well and everything done met a very high standard of care.

We went there my dog was not feeling to well, we took her in and they instantly jumped to a conclusion of putting her down. they took about 2 hours to even look at her. we took her home and took her to a different vet and they said that she was not in pain and to not put her down and that the work they did on my dog was a joke. Don’t reccomend what so ever.
