Not a terrible experience, the ladies working at Gem State were nice, but I was pretty bummed when I didn’t get a dollar an hour raise when I was hired on full time like they said I would…. If I’d of known that I would’ve went w another job posting. I wouldn’t recommend using a staffing agency, I would apply for any positions directly through the company if I was to do it all over again. When I was hired on full time after fulfilling the 480 hours per contract, I had to do everything over again through the company such as background, drug test, driving record, etc. which is not Gem State Staffing’s fault, but it’s just mundane doing all the tasks over again...read full review
The girls here are amazing. I was steady working. When one job was finished I had another by next week. They are very welcoming and encouraged me to bring in my toddler when I had to do any paperwork. They let her go behind the counter and hang out with them and even ate their snacks. As long as you're a hard worker, and you show up, they will do what they can to keep you working.
Gem State Staffing is top notch!! I contacted for an interview at a company within 48 hours of submitting my paperwork and resume. All of the staff at Gem State have been pleasant and professional, I haven't had any issues with communication or pay, it has all been a very smooth process. I can't say enough about the company I was placed with. I started with them 4 months ago and all of my expectations have truly been exceeded.
