I brought my cat to Cedar Ridge expecting answers, but instead I got uncertainty and a vet who seemed more focused on cost than care. Before I called, the vet gave no clear answers and seemed unsure of what was wrong. But once I got on the phone with him, his tone suddenly changed—he acted confident, as if he had been certain all along. The switch was obvious, especially since my daughter (who was there in person) and me on the phone listening heard how unsure he actually was earlier.
I get that diagnosing pets can be complex, and I understand that vet visits aren’t cheap—but when you’re charging a premium, I expect thorough care and honest communication. What I got instead was confusing, unhelpful, and left me feeling like my cat’s well-being wasn’t the priority.
After talking with family who’ve also taken their pets here, I learned this isn’t a one-off issue. The common theme? A focus on money over treatment. That’s not just disappointing—it’s unacceptable.
I didn’t have time to dig into the reviews before my mom brought her in, but I wish I had. I’ve since seen many others with similar complaints. I won’t be returning, and I definitely won’t recommend Cedar Ridge. I want a vet who treats my cats and dogs with real care—not as dollar signs.

Writing a review for my daughter who is too distraught to do it herself. She took her cat in to be spayed yesterday and the cat died during the procedure. She was still charged and even had to pay a rush cremation fee. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Idk if this is with all the vets but the one I got was really just agreeing with what I thought was wrong which was a mistake and my cat was very ill that we had to take him to the emergency vet hospital. He didn’t care about my pet and just wanted the paycheck.

The Vet is great. The techs are kind and helpful but the groomers are not professional by any means! She looked better going in than coming out! Never has my dog looked so bad! I’m embarrassed! They said they blow dried her but they didn’t no way! Her hair goes straight when blow dried! I had to bring her home and fix everything. Didn’t even touch her tail! She was so stressed out! I had to ask if they gave her a bath!

Dr. Hansen is wonderful and so are the rest of the staff. I am so happy with the care my animals get here and recommend them to everyone with small animals.
