My furnace stopped working the morning of a school snow day and it was noon before I noticed. So I didn't have much hope of getting it seen the same day. The took my information and said they'd try to squeeze me in. Within the hour they called and said they were going to send some guys over to try to diagnose the problem while their technicians were finishing up a call. The young men were so polite and helpful. They said my pilot light had gone out, but were unable to get the panel off. (Vapor-locked or something I don't remember). They assured me it was off so we weren't in danger from natural gas and left behind 2 space heaters jic they weren't able to make it back...read full review

Call Barlows first. These guys are honest and highly competent, the best in the State.I made the mistake of calling another HVAC company first. The guy who came tried baffling me with BS and dazzling me with brilliance. They had even called their supervisor to get a second opinion. The solution to fixing the issue would be a whole new unit and within 30 minutes of their visit, corporate was calling me to schedule a sizing apointment. I decided to get a real second opinion.Barlows came in and within 10 minutes fixed the issue. It was just thermostat wires. These guys rock. They are prompt, professional, honest, and courteous. Work was done in a timely manner, they were respectful to me and to my home, and best of all, the bill matched the quote. I'll recommend this company to anyone.
