If you are like me and will use a chrome shop only once or maybe twice in your lifetime, you may have some uneasiness about the process once arriving at one. But at NWChrome, Joseph engaged my first email inquiry, and once I arrived at the shop in New Plymouth ID, he gave me an evaluation of the process and the potential to chrome my 2 motorcycle crash bars. Joseph also asked his coworker to evaluate chroming my parts and they both felt comfortable doing the job, estimated 4 to 5 weeks. Before departing, they also gave me a price estimate. Even so, I expressed my concern about them losing my 2 small crash bars in such a big shop.When the job was completed, BOTH in the cost range and time estimate, my crash bars were shipped back to me back in Fairview, OR. They looked fantastic! My worries about craftsmanship and organization were for nothing.If you are thinking about using a chrome shop, I recommend starting at NWChrome. These guys did a great job on my manifold. It was cast aluminum with a lot of pores, which can be challenging to polish. They applied their considerable skill and the part turned out beautiful. It was just the touch I needed to harmonize with the other polished engine parts. Turnaround was reasonable fast and price was right. I definitely recommend them.

Northwest Chrome is always great. They do excellent work at a reasonable (for rechroming) cost. They finish the work when they say. I restore old cars, and this is the best chrome shop I have ever dealt with.
