I shoot the 285g power belt ELR out of my CVA firebolt ultramag chambered in 45 cal. The rifle is dialed in for shots out to the 250 yard minus region that being said its performance was exactly what I was looking for with 120g of powder behind it. Shot a nice 5x5 bull elk at 90 yards in the pump station. Entry was a money shot, expansion tip and hollow point bullet did exactly what it was intended for. Maximum expansion and carnage. If you’re looking for a fast accurate, devastating, round 10-10 recommend. On deer I’d suggest a well placed neck shot unless you enjoy blowing the front end off of them.

The only reason for a two star is they are an accurate bullet at the range. Poor expansion when hitting an Elk in my case, the bullet either tumbled and entered backwards or expanded in an odd manner. Luckely I had a good hit and was able to stop the Elk. If i could post a pic of the bullet I recovered I would.
