I cannot thank this veterinary team enough for the care they gave my older horse. He was hospitalized with a severe colic and impaction and had to stay with them for over a week. Anyone who owns horses knows how frightening colic can be, especially with an older horse. The entire team was incredibly compassionate, attentive, and knowledgeable throughout the whole process. They monitored him closely, kept me updated, answered every question, and treated him with such kindness and patience. It was clear that they truly care about the animals they treat. While I was out of town, my neighbor had to bring my horse to Idaho equine. He had gotten stuck in their fence with barbed wire wrapped around one leg. The vet talked to me on the phone, my horse was very well cared for and everything was explained to me. Sutures and bandages on three legs. 10 days later my horse was seen for recheck and suture removal. The staff are very efficient and informative. Very, very pleased with the care and knowledge of the staff.

The staff here is excellent and caring. Liz Scott is the best reproduction vet I've ever worked with! They saved my stallion prospect who arrived with a broken ankle, and helped me say goodbye to an aged mare who was struggling with kindness and compassion. Even though they are a large clinic, they have the feel of a small town vet that knows your name and treats you like family.
