I was scrambling to find a place for my little girl to get a special birthday hair cut yesterday, and called Cameo Salon in some desperation because the salon I initially wanted wouldn’t even pick up the phone. Not only did they go out of their way to make room for my daughter, they also gave her VIP treatment by washing her hair, and then styling it afterwards. The stylist was so kind, and conversed with my daughter like she would an adult. My little girl was positively glowing with happiness by the time we left, which is a big deal because she struggles with anxiety and self image.
