My 9 year old son currently has been practicing at this dojo for 3 months now. I will have to say I am impressed with this dojo. I have taken martial arts myself when I was a child starting at the age of 8 and continuing on till I was 18 and then off and on, so I have been around a few dojo's and taken different styles. Before my son started at this dojo, I went and toured other's to see what would fit him the best. Here what made this dojo stand out from the rest.

We met Sensei Vanessa a year ago she has still been an incredible help to our Jr Black belt. Even though our daughter had a really good grasp of the basics. She was able to present details to our daughter in a different perspective that she was able to grasp. Sensei Vanessa is very patient and is able to present material in various different ways. She has quickly became part of our family. Would highly recommend to anyone considering a dojo.
Jim and Vanesa Perkins own and run this wonderful dojo. There are classes for 3 years old and up. There are Adaptive classes for all abilities. Karate is a great physical workout and stress reliever.Parking next to the building is limited and you can park across the street. There is a signaled crosswalk to safely cross.
