I understand that they're contractors. They still need to knock on your front door and let you know that they will be entering through your gate, leaving it open, and doing work. And if they don't, they need to understand when someone is home alone and sees a strange man walking through the backyard That they need to leave when asked.

HORRIBLE! Will not pick up the phone. I wanted to see if the invasion of our backyard was legitimate as we caught someone leaving our backyard and they would not speak to us. Called Boise PD instead and filed a report since no one at ELM would talk to us via phone or otherwise. "ELM person" trespassed in our backyard for god knows what reason, while we were gone, left our gate open and let our dogs out! We caught the exiting person as we were pulling up in our driveway. Total disrespect for property, and home ownership. I will also follow up with DOPL to see if this company pulled a ticket or what the plan here is, and why they are trespassing?
