I was looking for a new place to refill my gel nails, the place I normally go, I didn't like the service I had last time Driving around my neighborhood; I saw this place D&L Nails and Spa, I said I'm going to try there. I got my nails done by Patsy, she was amazing....my nails were done beautiful I have been to several places, I had not had such a complete service. From the cuticle to the gel polish of my nails, she helped me to pick up the color I was happily satisfied 10 out of 10 I really love it
I'll start by saying I absolutely love the work I got done from D. I had a simple fill on three different visits..I believe it was $55 on my first visit cause I had a bit of a mess to work with. Second visit was $45. However, on my last visit while she was still working on me my husband (who had a manicure/Pedicure) was done with Tumy and he paid for both our services...Tumy walked over to D's station where I was and asked how much, D said I don't know yet still working on her...Tumy asked $55.00? D said I know yet.. Huband went ahead and paid for his and my services, So today My husband and I were conteplating making an appointment his normal Mani/Pedi and me the normal fill..He proceeds to ask what did you have done last time we were there and I said just Fill and a coat of Gel, he says is it normaly $65.00? Much to my surprise I said $65.00? No!! usually it's $45 maybe $55 depending on length and designer Gel or something like that mine was just a regular Fill and I had already shortened my nails before we went...So it was just a normal fill and one coat of clear gel (My Norm) I was never told how much I was being charged because my husband paid for it and didn't find out till today it was a bit excessive at $65.00 for a simple fill...This is the kind of review I hate wrighting because I really really like D and my husband was finally happy finding someone he liked as well (Tumy) he felt taken advantage of and over charging without a price quote from D for me..Unfortunatly he no longer wishes to return there...
Love coming here! The environment and staff make you feel at home and always greet me by name and remember what’s going on in my life. Tumy and her mom are so kind and their work is impeccable!
