We enjoyed our one-night stay at the Lava Hotel! The private hot springs pool was great - a quick walk from our deck room.
We used the deck out front of our room to enjoy some wine and dessert and the crisp spring air.
So much of the main street is easily accessible and walkable from the hotel.
Staff is friendly and helpful.
The beds moved too much - wheels were not secured and they kept pushing out from the wall. The mattresses could do with some updating. The rooms themselves are a bit dated.
But the location is great and we enjoyed our stay!

Courtyard rooms 9, 10, 11, and 12 is made up from what was an old concrete block 50's style motel building. The small bathroom was renovated but the shower has no place for your products or soap. Old furniture and hot tub, we did not use. Bed was good and many styles of pillows, was a plus. Old smart TV. Nowhere to hang clothes. Their Hot Pool was a short walk from the rooms, had to clean the bugs from water. Looked worn. Fridge sounds like an aircraft, so I turn it very low to sleep. For these reasons, I felt its over priced.

Amazing hotel located right in the middle of Lava Hot Springs. Cindy at the FD was very nice and told us all the places to check out once we mentioned it was our first time. The King room is large and came with a full kitchen and great bed. The hotels hot spring is the perfect temperature and a short walk from all the rooms and looks over the river.

A total gem! We stayed for a weekend get away and couldn't have been happier! They were so great about answering any questions or requests we had. We loved that could walk outside and be right in the middle of downtown! Everything is a short walk away.
