KJ's Superwash is a business that offers both car wash services and a retail store. The car wash employees are described as friendly and always hustling to get customers through the wash. They provide a hand wash prior to the automatic car wash and have plenty of vacuums and fresh clean towels available. However, some customers have reported inconsistent levels of service, with some employees taking more time and care than others. The retail store is noted for being neat, clean, and orderly. However, the blaring death metal music has been a turn off for some customers, who find it inappropriate and offensive. Despite this, the convenience of the location and the quality of the car wash services keep customers coming back. Another point of contention for some customers is the price of gas at KJ's Superwash. While it used to be consistently priced with Costco in 2018, it is now some of the most expensive gas around, even costing 10 cents more per gallon than nearby gas stations. This has led to some frustration and dissatisfaction among customers.
This gas station does NOT have free air anymore. They decided to make a poor decision and use the Xact Air machine. These machines are garbage. I have never had a proper working machine. Also I have 90psi tires at it only goes to 80psi. I have never had an Xact Ait machine not rip me off of $2 and their compressors struggle to even get to 50psi.
I am going to give this 2 ratings one for their car wash and the other for their retail store. 1st Car Wash- The young guys working here are always super friendly. Whether busy or slow they are always hustling getting customers through. I also like the fact they pretty much hand wash your car prior to even going through the car wash. I have brought all my vehicles here and always leave here pleased. Plus they have tons of vacuums available and something I really love are the fresh clean towels to get off those remaining water spots. If it was just for the car wash this would be at least a 4-5 star. 2nd- The retail portion while always neat clean and orderly. The blaring death metal music or even turned down is a total turn off. Yesterday as an example same death metal music saying who knows what but could easily make out the offensive lyrics to me and the other customers. Now I don't care what you listen to on your own time but at least pick something neutral for the other customers. I can also tell you it must be a few employees because I mentioned it to someone a few times ago and they just rolled their eyes saying can't make everyone happy. This wasn't meant for me it was for I believe the other co-worker working that day. I wouldn't think the owners or manger would put up with that while they are around. This place is just way to convenient for me to pass up and the fact I only pretty use their car wash facilities and don't have to deal with the death metal music will keep me coming back.
I am signed up on the monthly wash which is great and I can go as many times as needed. The issue I have is that It seems I get a different level of service each time I get a wash, some of the employees take their time and make sure to really pay attention to the back and front of the car, most do not. Towels are definitely an issue, 4 out of 5 times I go, there are no clean towels in the bins. Convenient but could be better
