The Defining Line Salon is the BEST place to go for all of your salon needs. I don't trust anyone else when it comes to cutting my curly hair. Not only are the whole staff professionals at their jobs, but they are a joy to interact and engage with. Usually, I feel really anxious and have a hard time communicating my hair goals and making sure it comes out how I envision with regular hairdressers. However, after a small warming up, my anxiety is still there but I don't feel it as intensely as I usually do. I'm have too much fun chatting and listening to stories, all while enjoying the pleasant pampering 😆

I am so glad that Talita did my shampoo, cut and style! She listened to my concerns - wanting volume on top, to eliminate the frizzy look, and to look my best with options on styling. Talita worked her magic and I am so pleased. I felt great about my hair for the wedding I attended later that day. I'll be returning and asking for her. Shout out for her skill and for her kindness in explaining what she was doing and why during the visit, such as cutting under hairs shorter on each small section she cut so that the shorter under hairs would lift the upper hairs, creating volume - and for showing me which products to use for healthy shine and techniques in styling so that...read full review
