We got in mid day for two chair massages. Paid $30 plus tip for 20 min. It was worth it! Very good pressure. Call ahead for appointment. Cash is preferred. I'd definitely go again.
I was on my lunch break and needed to run an errand in the mall. I had walked by Soothing Massage and noticed a guy standing in the entrance like he was wanting customers (mental note). So on my way out i looked over to see if he was still there and wanted to see what they charged, saw they had a 20 minute option, but before i could stop an older gentleman came out and said something in Chinese (didn't understand unfortunately) but he felt my shoulders and neck and i told him "oh ya your going to feel tension there". I figured i could do the 20 minutes and he repeated it to me and had me get on the table. It was a very good deep tissue massage and he really did do a good job. At some point he said "10 minutes, 30 minutes" and i knew that i was going over what i had originally asked for, but it felt good so i figured i could spare the extra 10 minutes. But then he wanted me to get on my back and i had to tell him that i needed to get back to work haha Overall it was a good massage but i would have preferred he stick to the 20 minutes i had originally asked for (the only reason i did 4 stars instead of 5). I'll definitely go back though, when i have more time to spare :)
This place gives a good deep tissue massage. Be aware they do use their elbows and knuckles. It will be sore after but it is because they're getting a lot of the tightness out of the muscles. They will try to upsell you and pressure you to buy a more expensive massage even during the massage they will say your muscles are tight and ask to add ten minutes or more to upsell. They also talk to each other and laugh a lot during your massage in another language which makes me feel uncomfortable because I don't know what they're saying or if it's about me.
