HK Contractors, A CRH Company is a prominent construction and material supply company in Idaho, with a history dating back to 1950 when George Hartwell founded Hartwell Excavating. In 1975, the company joined forces with Kennaday Paving to create HK Contractors, Inc., expanding its service area to include Montana and Wyoming. Over the years, HK Contractors has received numerous awards, including "Best Construction Project" from the U.S. Department of Transportation, Federal Highway Administration. In 2007, the company became part of the Oldcastle Materials team of companies. Gentleman that delivered my rock noticed some went on the neighbors lawn and he grabbed a shovel and helped me scoop it all up! Staff was friendly in the office and they even got my delivery to me a little early thanks guys!
HK worked with me through the demo and prep of my driveway and did an excellent job on the install. We had our water line replaced about 18 months ago, they did a great job. Last week we developed a problem and needed some help, they sent Rob Lees over to take a look. He evaluated the problem, took care of it and we were only out of water for about 24 hours. Rob is a great guy and very dedicated to his job and company. Thanks Rob
