Dr Daines (the should OS, not his brother) did a total shoulder replacement on me about 18 months ago. Though recovery was painful and long (normal for this procedure) I had am now back to almost 100%. I'm a body builder so the ability to continue working out was extremely important to me. The final result would be sufficient to warrant a 5-star review. If I add in Dr Daines interactions with me at office visits and pre and post surgery, I'd give a higher rating. I never felt rusted (I ask a lot of questions) and his positive attitude is excellent. I've already visited him about my other shoulder as it's having some issues. I wish I could give Dr. Michael Daines more than five stars! I received a total hip replacement from Dr. Daines and had such an exceptional experience. The entire staff at West Valley Orthopedic Center was professional, friendly, and caring. My surgery was preformed by Dr. Daines with the use of robotics which enables precision reconstruction and reduces rehabilitation time. I was released for normal activities after 8 weeks and I am 70 years old.Thank you, Dr. Daines, Dr. Otstot and the entire staff of West Valley Medical Center.
