Master Kim's has been one of the best things we could have ever done for our daughter. Every single one of the instructors are *amazing* and we can see the impact each of them has on her.
We appreciate the way that Master Kim incorporates mindset lessons into each session. This has been a key differentiator for us. As someone who grew up with family who did Taekwondo, I can say without a doubt there is something really special about Master Kim's.
Here's what I mean: Recently, our daughter has been facing increased angst/feelings of overwhelm in social settings. When this happened as we came in for class, Master Bae got down to her level, looked her in the eyes, put her arm around her, and just spoke to her human-to-human.
As a mom, it was a moment that's hard to put into words. It really does feel like a community at Master Kim's, and it's great to see this awesome blend of discipline, respect, compassion---really all of the values they teach---being fully lived out.
