Best barbershop in town. Conveniently located to downtown Boise, BSU as well as central Boise. The location is easy to find just off Overland Road at the intersection of Shoshone. Great cuts and trims at reasonable prices.
For seven years I got my hair cut in the Marine Corps, and one thing I learned is this: the best cuts don’t take the longest or cost the most. A great barber has skill, precision, and pride in their craft. Robert is the embodiment of that.
The price is unbeatable, but the service feels like something you’d pay double for. He gave me a detailed cut, straight-razored the sides and back with shaving cream, cleaned up my mustache, hit me with a hot towel, and even finished with a back massager so I walked out completely relaxed.
This level of care is rare. It’s the kind of old-school quality you don’t find anymore and he delivers it every time.

Robert started out as my barber and quickly became a good friend. He’s a Marine veteran, a dedicated dad, and truly one of the best barbers around. He genuinely cares about his clients and always takes the time to make sure every cut is perfect. He’s been cutting my hair and my boys’ for a few years now, and every visit is consistent and top-notch and he’s one of the few barbers that use a strait blade!. You won’t be disappointed Robert and the Keystone Shop are as good as it gets.
