Doc Scissors Barbershop is an old school, no frills barbershop considered the best shop in town by long-time clients. The environment is cool and the service is great, with barbers described as super kind, bubbly, amazing, very professional, and absolute pros. They provide quality, damn good haircuts and style hair exactly as requested, treating customers like an old friend rather than a number. Clients look forward to their visits, able to decompress, let go, and laugh in the chair. The interior could be improved, but the consistent, trusted service is what matters most. It is recommended to schedule an appointment a few days in advance, as they are often booked, though walk-ins are offered.
I went here one day cause my usual place was closed and I've been going here ever since. Eli is always on point and pays attention to detail. Not a single hair outta place when she's done. Go here.
I love supporting local businesses that treat me like an old friend, and not a franchise that treats me like cattle! Sometimes it takes more than a 15 minute time limit to connect with a customer and to provide them with the services they request. Every 3-4 weeks, I look forward to my time with Eli, she is an amazing person and styles my hair exactly as I like it, every time! Once I sit in that chair, I'm allowed to decompress and forget about my day and let go and laugh a little, because I trust Eli. You owe it to yourself to give Doc Scissors Barbershop a try!
I don’t know why Docs doesn’t have a lot of reviews…so they don’t do a bunch of social media ….i have been getting my hair cut here for a decade. Best shop in town. Old school no frills.
