I've been going to Penrod's Barbershop for almost 40 years now. Kevin is definitely one of the best barbers in Des Moines. The atmosphere inside is really great. The Barbershop has been there almost 100 years. The inside is very cool and the perfect place for a kid's first hair cut. It is something that they will never forget.
My kids have gotten their haircut by Kevin for years now. They love him. He always remembers that they both play hockey. They talk hockey the entire time. He is the absolute best. When we moved out of Des Moines, we still drive an hour to see him for haircuts. Kevin and the kids are always smiling and laughing the entire time we are there.
