“I recently walked in (no appointment) and dropped off my laptop on a Friday afternoon. It had frozen up or operated VERY slowly, to the point where I realized something was interfering normal operation. I told Geek Squad Agent Sarah Mondt (who said there were no current appointments being served, that she was available) that I was from out of town, and if it could not be fixed by EOD Saturday, I would then come in and pick it up (and take it to a Best Buy back home). The next day at 4:00 I got a message that it was ready for pickup. Geek Squad Agent JT Carroll told me the main problem was that a Windows update did not go well. They had fixed it and cleaned up one or two other items they identified. He said they were aware of my urgency and expedited the troubleshooting and repair. Kudos to JT Carroll and Sarah Mondt for their fast and effective work!!!“
