Our daughter started at Tiger Rock in Waukee when she was just 3 years old. Due to her inability to sit still or listen to instruction I was nervous, but knew we needed to try something before she started pre-school. That was 2 years ago, and I can't even begin to tell you how far we have come since then! It's been a complete transformation for our daughter, and as a result at home and school as well.Mr. and Mrs. Wood are amazing! Mrs. Wood works so well with the Tiger Cubs. Tiger Rock Waukee has been life changing for my daughter. Not only did she find a school to teach her something she really found an affinity for, she found an instructor team that truly cares about developing people as well as skills. Mr and Mrs Wood, along with Mr Jennings, are great people and teachers, and have done so much to help our daughter on her journey. The belt levels give my daughter a constant goal to aspire to. Tiger Rock’s leadership program has given my daughter a chance to grow the skills she will need to be a leader in her future. Our daughter has been in the Tiger Cubs class for about 8 months now. Since she has started, we have seen her confidence increase and she has made so many new friends. Mr. and Mrs. Wood are amazing with all the kids, and have become like family to us. The facility is always clean.The instructors have great communication with the students and the parents. Our daughter asks us everyday if it is time for martial arts yet!
