The Right Place For Finding The Right Pros Near You!
Miracles in Motion is a non-profit that offers therapeutic horse riding/hippotherapy to kids and adults with physical and mental challenges, along with at-risk youth. It is a fantastic program! The staff are all amazing, super friendly, supportive, warm and caring!I volunteered here in 2003 with AmeriCorps*NCCC. Sue Bock is or at least was the owner at that time. My team was camping/living at a nearby campground run by the Army Corps of Engineers (if my memory serves me correctly) and I don't remember what months we were there but it was freezing- so much so that both Sue Bock & her husband, along with another amazing employee/volunteer by the name of Joyce opened their homes to us and we finished our time there living with them! While I was there, I build post fencing along the perimeter of the fields, put up bird netting in the indoor riding arena, helped with the classes/kids as a side walker, tacked and groomed the horses. I learned to ride and appreciate horses up close- something I was never exposed to before. I loved the horses and their personalities! Miracles in Motion is such a wonderful place and it holds fond memories for me. I went back to visit in 2005 or 2006 and had a nice time. I will definitely stop back in the next time I'm in town, but who knows when that will be. :^)I 100 million% recommend Miracles In Motion!!!
They were professional and were careful with the hoses and answered any questions I had
