About Family Pet at Perry Creek
Family Pet at Perry Creek is a veterinary hospital that provides excellent care for animals. They quickly assessed and treated a sick dog, helping him recover and stop vomiting. The staff was very accommodating when a dog owner, who was camping over 3.5 hours away, needed urgent help. They took the dog in, made the owner feel supported, and even assisted with travel arrangements. The hospital also performs dental procedures on cats, answering all questions before and after the procedure, and allowing the cat to return home the same day. Staff showed great patience and flexibility, making pet owners feel appreciated and cared for. They also provide compassionate end-of-life care, allowing families to have peaceful goodbyes in a serene outdoor setting, which makes difficult moments more manageable. Overall, Family Pet at Perry Creek is a caring and skilled veterinary hospital that takes excellent care of its patients and supports pet owners through every step.
I can't express enough gratitude for the compassionate care we received at Family Pet at Perry Creek Vet during such a difficult time. We had to say goodbye to our beloved dog, and the team went above and beyond to ensure it was a peaceful experience.
They allowed us to have the euthanasia outside, in the warmth of the sun, surrounded by family. The serene setting made a heart-wrenching moment a bit more bearable. The staff was incredibly kind, respectful, and sensitive to our needs, making sure we felt supported every step of the way.

Excellent care, patience, and flexibility! I will miss this clinic beyond belief when we move to the hills. We are fortunate to have this amazing care for our pets. I am grateful!

My poor pup has had outrageous allergies that have fully overwhelmed his little body, The staff at Family Pet got my guy in for an appointment sooner than anyone else. The tech listened to the whole story about Ted without making me feel that I was talking too much. The vet examined him thoroughly and came up with a sound treatment plan. A BIG thank you to the Humane Society of the Siouxland for providing me with a voucher to cover the cost of the exam- I wouldn’t have been able to afford to bring him in to the vet without it!
