“My 5-year-old daughter was seen by Dr. Luis Barragan because we were concerned about how easily she was bruising. He truly listened to our concerns and, because of his attentiveness, discovered that she had ITP with life-threatening platelet levels. She ended up being hospitalized at Children’s Hospital in Sioux Falls. Just days before her diagnosis, she had been playing at a trampoline park.

Our daughter is a bit of a wild, daredevil child, and we are so incredibly grateful that Dr. Barragan took our concerns seriously. His care and attention very likely protected her from a much more dangerous situation.
