“We were referred to Paul with R&P Construction from another local contractor back in February. I requested a quote from Paul by phone to replace our wooden soffitt (DIY by the previous homeowner...) with aluminum. He called me and texted me to let me know he got my message, and he emailed me the quote within a few days. He was very reasonably priced and great at communicating (which I love from any contractor!!). They were able to come today (4/21/2020) and do the work. He had a few guys with him and they replaced our soffit within two hours of arriving. It looks incredible!! SUCH an improvement. They do build a nice deck and did a great job meeting our goals of raising the deck to reduce the step height from inside, extending the deck length, and installing a proper set of stairs. Adam was helpful in working through material choices and design options, and he was very prompt in responding to our questions. The team also coordinated with MJ Concrete, who installed a patio under the deck during the replacement, which helped the overall project come together.

The reason for the 4-star review is the installation crew’s inconsistent communication about when they would be on-site or off. While we understand that coordinating with the patio work and dealing with late-season weather can impact schedules, we were told who our point of contact was and did not always receive timely responses when we reached out. This caused some frustration during the project, though the final result was solid.“
