“Cutter construction removed and replaced our driveway which included leveling it out more. They also replaced our culvert which had collapsed. They were willing to spend a lot of time talking out the details and coming up with a plan. During construction, they communicated well and did a great job. They were very professional. They were flexible when items appeared (like in all construction projects) and helped work through them. They really pay attention to the details in their work. I would highly recommend them and would use them again in the future.“

We needed an exterior door put into our mudroom and John was recommended by a family friend. Once John arrived, we didn't have to worry about anything, and I can't stress this enough.His communication was excellent, so we didn't have to worry about what was happening at any point in the construction. He was punctual, so we weren't worried about whether he was going to show and if the work would get done. “Jeremy just completed building a custom fence for us bordering our patio to replace our existing fence that was damaged in the August 10, 2020 derecho. We wanted to recreate the design & look of the original fence & Jeremy worked closely with us to select the same quality lumber and get the dimensions perfect. We are thrilled with the result, which he & his assistant Noah completed in just 2 days!! The scalloped design of the fence required careful consideration and Jeremy pre-cut the boards several days in advance of construction so that we could stain them. He even loaned us a 37-board drying rack and sawhorse set so we were able to stain & dry the almost 90 boards in 2.5 days. Jeremy set the 5 support posts in cement & went the extra mile, having his assistant Noah carefully hand pick top quality boards. Jeremy also pre-drilled the screw holes and screw head countersinks so that the boards would not split and the screw heads would lie flush with the boards. Jeremy‘s attention to detail in all aspects of the job made it a pleasure to work with him and created a fence that will stand the Test of Time and provide us with satisfaction and enjoyment every day. “We purchased a complete new front door and a complete new back door. When we made the purchase they made us feel very uncomfortable and showed us several options. They installed it two months sooner than expected. The installers were fantastic! They were very careful removing the old doors and went above to make sure everything was perfect with the new doors. The quality of the doors is amazing! I would recommend Hometown to everyone! We had them fix our front porch a few years ago and it was perfect also. This stump was from a 64 year old maple tree that had grown under the garage (it was 2 feet on the foundation). He didn’t give up until he had removed every bit of the stump. “Work was done with excellent results. I had them do two older homes with tear offs and reshingle. They stuck to the estimates well, and when time came for some small problems to deal with they worked with me, and we moved on. They are legitimate guys, which you don't always find in this business.
