First of all, I was running late to my appointment called ahead and they were so accommodating to fit me in. Dr. Paulson always knows the most effective spot to put my Cortizone shot. Such a relief. I’ve been going to the same doctor for the last seven years.

I have always had a great experience at Iowa Ortho. Dr. Vincent and his PA Miranda are great. They answer all my questions and they make the injections in my knees as painless as possible.

Dr. Benjamin Paulson injected me with a cortisone injection in both my right and left thumb. Even though the injections could’ve been quite painful, he took the time to put a freeze spray on my skin and then distracted me by asking me what I did this Summer for my right hand and then asked me what I did on Labor Day weekend. Both times he asked at the perfect time while he was injecting me to try to get my focus off of the injections. I thought he did an excellent job. When he was done with my injections, he told me other options for dealing with pain and did I want to pursue any of those. He did a very thorough job. I would highly recommend him.
