“Used to see Dr Jen in West Des Moines years ago and loved her care of my pet rabbit with special needs. Now Dr Kate Siller is the exotics specialist and she has been amazing! She and her team have been fantastic at communicating anything and everything they can in advance of taking our new rabbit (also with complex needs) to see her for some imaging and procedures - and we hadn't even been to their office yet! “I have been going to Dunham since I was a kid. So over 30 years. He’s amazing. I mean you will not find a more caring, protective vet than Dunham. He cares about the animals, he wants to be sure they are properly cared for by owners. He's reasonably priced but that’s not even a factor compared to the quality of care.

When I moved to Chicago and was told to put my dog down (who Dunham had been his primary vet for the first 8 years of his life) unless I could pay $17K for surgery to save my dog from inverted disc disease. I drove back to Iowa to see Dunham. If I had to put him down, it was going to be done by Dunham. One look by at Babel (my dog) and he sent me in after hours to a top neurologist who said she wouldn’t even do surgery let alone put him down. Three weeks of constant crate rest and he was back almost good as new. And I would’ve lost my pup over a bad original opinion.“

“I cannot say enough great things about my experience! I was very nervous as my 4 year old dog, Doc had never been under sedation and he has a condition where he can experience seizure like behavior. I'm also kind of crazy and was really nervous about the amount of hair that would need to be shaved. Doc is a show dog so he does have very long hair. The staff went above and beyond for my request, only shaving a tiny patch that even I had to look for. That small consideration of my request really meant the world to me. While Doc was there for his root canal, the technicians called several times to update me on his progress. At the end of the procedure, Dr. Jen called to give me a brief run down of everything. I was very pleased with the amount of contact from the staff since I was pretty nervous. They very much put my mind at ease. At check out I was given a very thorough explanation of every aspect of Doc's procedure and I even learned some things. I will never take my dogs anywhere else for dental care. Doc and I truly received the gold standard of care!“
