I cannot say enough great things about my experience! I was very nervous as my 4 year old dog, Doc had never been under sedation and he has a condition where he can experience seizure like behavior. I'm also kind of crazy and was really nervous about the amount of hair that would need to be shaved. Doc is a show dog so he does have very long hair. The staff went above and beyond for my request, only shaving a tiny patch that even I had to look for. That small consideration of my request really meant the world to me. While Doc was there for his root canal, the technicians called several times to update me on his progress. At the end of the procedure, Dr. Jen called to...read full review

If your pet needs the help of a veterinary dentist/oral surgeon look no further! Dr. Mathis and her team are wonderful. My dog recently had a rostral mandibulectomy (she had the bottom part of her jaw removed) and we had a very good experience at Animal Dentistry Referral Services. My dog was experiencing a lot of pain and from the moment we called, Dr. Mathis and the team handled our case with care. Dr. Jen is an amazing pet dentist. SO passionate about her care for pet dentistry needs. The continuity of care provided with their care coordinator, Anne, is an added benefit. Anne is a very compassionate individual that will walk you through from start to finish.

From Animal Dentistry Referral Services

ADRS is a group within FPVC which only does Veterinary Dentistry. This means root canal therapy, orthodontics, fracture repair, oral/maxillofacial surgery, and much more. The goal is to reveal and remove hidden pet pain while preserving function. Did you know that three out of every four pets have some type of dental disease right now? Dental diseases are hidden. They are the most common and most overlooked disease condition of pets. Sadly, most pets do not show oral pain, simply suffering in silence. Understanding that statement, makes it rewarding once treated pets are healed acting more puppy- or kitten-like even in older age. Age is not a disease, but other diseases are less common or better controlled when oral health is good.
