Sensory Kids was an amazing place for our family. They helped boths our sons with some behavior issues they were struggling with and gave them the tools they needed to be successful. We are so grateful to them. Sensory Kids is a wonderful resource for our community! We are lucky to have them.

As a mom, all you want is for your child to feel loved, understood, and supported—and that’s exactly what this place gives. Every therapist we’ve met has treated my son with such kindness and patience. They don’t just work with him; they truly see him. He’s learned tools that have made such a difference in his life, and I’ve watched his confidence grow in ways I never thought possible. He looks forward to his sessions every single week and always leaves with the happiest smile. I can’t put into words how grateful I am for everything Sensory Kids has done for our family. A million times over, I would recommend them.

You cannot find better if you live in CR, Marion, Iowa City, Coralville, North Liberty, etc. I am deeply involved in my son’s therapies and education and had gone to 3 other OT-SLP clinics before Sensory Kids. Our son who is a BIG TIME sensory seeker who needs a lot of input and movement, and he has never actually WANTED to go to therapy until we started here. Getting him to participate in any therapy before here has been extremely challenging. He gets too bored in a simple room. If your kid is like him, DEFINITELY take them here. ———this place is great for kids with all different sensory processing styles, but I want to make a point that there are no other clinics that have a sensory gym besides this one here. The amount of speech our son uses here is 20x the amount he does in a simple room because there is SO MUCH TO TALK ABOUT!
More importantly, Kendra is a TOP TIER SLP who is very experienced with NLA -for all my gestalt-language processors out there—as well as AAC and how to adapt it for GLP kids.

I do not recommend her, i met her in person for forms and stuff and she is rude, racist, and a bad child caretaker. she called my child a retard, IF YOU LOVE YOUR CHILD DO NOT TAKE THEM HERE PLEASE

Through my child's time with Sensory Kids Iowa, she has developed skills in all of her target areas, including handwriting, emotional control and coping skills to handle her need for sensory input. I feel incredibly grateful for the work done by these skilled professionals!

They are great! Everyone is kind and they charge what they say. The services have also been great so far (my kid does OT, feeding, and speech therapy there).

I highly recommend this service for thoughtful, play-centered therapy which serves children and their families so well. I can’t say enough how much my child has benefited from the kind, personalized service from therapists here who listen to parents well, and who modify plans to suit each individual child. Such a valuable resource for our family!

We love our Ava!! Our son has been doing speech therapy with her for six months now and he has improved immensely. You can tell he is much more confident in his speech, he is meeting goals and more than anything he has so much fun. Everyone there is so wonderful and caring, we attend twice a week and I have nothing but great things to say!
