We started going to this vet when our dogs annual shots and check up were reaching $400 and he has nothing wrong with him. He is perfectly healthy. So when we got our new puppy I tried this vet on a friends recommendation. She has brought all her pets here for years.I never leave reviews but I would like to address the several comments I have seen on here. If you do not like blunt to the point people this is not the place for you. That being said this is exactly what we want. If you need someone to worry about how you will feel to what they say then this is not the place for you. We’ve taken our pets here for their healthcare for over 30 years and they provide wonderful care. Our pets love going there. Doc is very conscious about what pets need to stay healthy. It is the best veterinary service in mid Iowa. We live in Urbandale & feel it is worth the trip to have a vet who loves animals caring for our dog.
I drive from Des Moines to see this vet. He is absolutely amazing. Straight shooter, very knowledgeable. I know his prices are fair. He charged me $100 less to tell me what another vet told me about my cat. Ultimately he helped cure my cat unknowingly by changing his diet ( because he was fat) and now my cat has a healthy tail that he gets to keep. The best in the business.
