The station offers fast V3 charging speeds of up to 773 mi/hr, with some chargers providing around 250 kW. It's situated about half a mile from the highway, which may be less convenient for some, but it helps reduce the risk of being ICEd. The facilities include clean bathrooms and a shaded area with A/C or heat, providing a comfortable place to wait. Nearby amenities, like a grocery store and a restaurant, make it a good stop for both charging and relaxing. Overall, it is a practical and well-supported charging spot for Tesla drivers.
The Tesla Superchargers at the Hy-Vee Fast & Fresh gas station make for a seamless and highly convenient charging stop.
Located right off a main road, the site features eight reliable stalls with zero charging issues, including a well-designed towing-accessible spot. The gas station convenience store offers exceptionally clean restrooms, and if you want something a bit more premium while you wait, Press is a great coffee shop right across the street. It is an effortless, efficient pit stop that checks all the boxes.
Easy to get to and out of the way, so lower risk of getting ICEd. Fast charger got up to 250+kW. About 0.5miles from the hwy is less convenient than some stations. Bathrooms were clean and it's nice to have somewhere with A/C (or heat) to walk around in while waiting.
Located at a HyVee "Gas Station" (that saying won't age well) and has V3 charging speeds 773mi/hr! So be sure to "Precondition" your batteries before you get here to take full advantage of the V3 speeds! Major thank you to HyVee for being such a big supporter of EVs!
