This is hands down the best hair salon in Iowa I’ve been coming to this salon for years and I’ve never been disappointed I’m the ladies are very welcoming and kind and always make sure I’m comfortable if you are in the Iowa city area I definitely recommend this salon.
Braid too tight. Took out a lot of my hair where I was already thinning in spots. I should have known better because I stopped going to them for a while because the same girl that sits in the front braided my hair too tight last visit.
I’ve been going to Mai for braids for over three years at this point. Not only does my hair always look amazing but she’s always so kind and makes the experience positive. After all this time she really knows what i like and makes sure everything looks good. I very highly recommend Mai’s African Hair Braiding.
