It’s like when you were a kid, and you were nervous about going to see the dentist, but then the same receptionist you see each 6 months smiles at you, and you know she’s about to hand you a sticker and let you pick the color of tooth brush you want, for being so brave! I love Iowa City Family Dentistry - Dr. Thompson, Jessica, and Gayle have been amazing to me since I started seeing them a few years ago. (No experience with other staff but I’m sure they are just as wonderful!)
At previous clinics (not in IC), I’ve had really awful experiences with unprofessional teams, and it stopped me from visiting the dentist for a few years because I was scared & nervous to have that happen again. Eventually, I was willing to give it another try; after looking around at my options, I chose Iowa City Family Dentistry for its size and location. I continue to choose them thanks to the respect and care they show to me as a patient.
